About us
The volunteers of Akrounta Youth Club, wishing to celebrate 40 years since its establishment, have decided to implement the eAkrounta project with the objective of the village’s integration into the modern digital era.
eAkrounta is funded by the “European Solidarity Corps” and includes the digitalization of old photographs, the recording of residents’ testimonies, as well as the tracing of the village’s points of interest. Additionally, within the framework of eAkrounta, this web portal was designed and materialized with the aim of hosting all the abovementioned as well as events, activities, and news of the community.
